Float. Collective unifies to create an ants’ island—artists linking arms to grow together as a unit alongside our fellow peers.The goal is to expand growth as a community, as a benefit to everyone. At the end of the day, we all work with the first people we know we can fall back on for support. So why not unite ourselves as a strongly unified group?
The collective runs without expectations. It is simply a way to put a name to what is already in motion.

As members become more established, the collective will grow into a medium of trust and will have built a group of trusted investors.Members’ projects will be financed through the established Float. Collective as a production company.
By expanding the portfolio and the members’ track records, we will be able to facilitate private and state funding for the members’ next projects. During this time, Float. Collective will plan to expand its members and seek out upcoming filmmakers whose vision fits the collective’s philosophy of positive social change.

Float. Collective will begin moving toward its end goal—to turn outward to the larger community. Trusted investors will lead the financing of films by upcoming talents, selected through a board of directors, cinematographers, producers, writers, and editors.
Through a multi-step process, Float. Collective Production will select 3–5 films every six months to finance. Envisioning a future with lower production costs and advancing visual technology that enables more affordable productions, we will be able to finance crucial pieces of cinema with lower budgets.
Float. Collective will serve the community as the community, calling at the end of its journey to be carried forward by its next successors.
